"Villa Alizee is probably the best and friendliest place we have stayed in the 4weeks we have spent on this island so far. We were made extremely welcome on our arrival. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished and we had a lovely patio overlooking the pool. The bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee was available at all times. Breakfasts were made personally to order as were the evening meals. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Our hire-car was kept secure in a large on-site compound....

"The unique thing about this property is that Gert and Marlene treat everyone as individuals and you soon feel part of the family. They have really taken on board the Mauritian way and that translates into a really relaxed vibe. Wonderful food and a great night's sleep! Highly recommend if you want an authentic experience that is a stone's throw from a paradise beach!"

"Manager was very helpful and made every effort to meet our needs. Has laundry service available. Need to remember that not all toiletries are included, like shampoo. Only has stairs to all rooms. Convenient to have a kitchenette available with a few dishes. Bathroom and shower were clean and worked well. Overall a great stay for the price. "

"The property owners were so nice and helpful. They helped us get a cab to go to dinner because there is nothing close to the property. The property was sufficient for a one night pre-cruise stay. We booked three rooms, one of which was spacious and had a great water view. The other two were smaller and simple. It was definitely good value for the price and if you are just looking for a place to stay for the night."

"Nous avons été accueillis comme des membres de la famille! Les hôtes sont hyper accueillants, gentils, accommodants, bienveillants et font en sorte que vous ne manquez de rien. L’endroit est calme, c’est hyper propre et il y a une petite piscine pour se rafraîchir. Le déjeuner est bon et copieux. De plus il y a deux restos à deux pas pour le dîner. "We wish to thank Kris & his wife for making our trip memorable. The accommodation was just perfect for us. It was away from the traffic and about 10 minutes away from the grocery store, restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed Kris' company. He had our breakfast ready rain or shine. "Absolutely loved this place!!! Small, boutique style hotel, with great pool right on the beach. Staff is wonderful and they take care of this place with so much care and love! Cindy, the manager, is fantastic, nothing is an issue ☺️ It was only myself and my little one this time and they were all very supportive and ready to assist with anything. "Great apartment. Very quiet. Well maintained. Very helpful host. Regular cleaning. Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk to the beach/town but they do offer a shuttle if you need it. We had a hire car so it wasn’t really a problem. "

"The LUX hotel deserves its 5 star status. It has great facilities for both families with & without children and even has an adult only beach area. Main gripe was the fact that the sea is so shallow you can hardly get any depth to swim properly which I felt was a shame. The staff are second to none. Shout out to Sandeep in reception, Neru & Vishal in the buffet restaurant area who were excellent "
