"Nice clean and comfortable cottage. Loved the enclosed gardens for our dog who can be reactive. We have small garden without grass so he loved the front garden and didn't want to leave. The weather helped us have a lovely long weekend and Thornhill has a good wee co-op, spar, cafe and restaurants. Restaurants were lunch and dinner though, not all day. Beautiful countryside however not many towns around if shopping is your thing. We took and ended up buying more to eat at cottage which had good...

With a large sitting room, spacious kitchen/diner, a separate dining room, and a second smaller sitting room with piano, there are plenty of options for getting together with your house guests. We were lucky with the weather, and ate breakfast on the patio and a barbecue in the garden. A memorable stay."

"Ideally located, cosy cottage. Good facilities, good heating (we stayed during a cold snap in December). Easy to find on the main road, although that main road may mean light sleepers may lose some sleep in the front bedroom. Would definitely return."

"The apartment was ok with really good views, however it does state that there is a washer in the property but that is not true. Also whilst the apartment has a full bathroom, the shower had little to no pressure whilst we were staying. Finally, there were some minor maintenance issues like the bathroom door was very stiff to open, these could be resolved very easily."

"Little gem of a place. Inside all new. Well stocked kitchen with all pans /utensils you might need. Log burner will heat the whole house so very little central heating required. Hot tub also log fired and we were surprised how quickly it heated the water. Sitting in it at night was a joy. Really good experience"

"House was absolutely stunning. It is in a great location for everything in Moffat. We had an amazing weekend. Only issue was the heating didn't come on but when i contacted Angela she came out and fixed it straight away. Would definitely stay again."
