Coming to the South Shore of Nova Scotia offers a tonic to life in the city, no matter the size. With too many beaches to mention between 3 and 20 minutes away you will not lack sand. Lunenburg the UNESCO heritage town with supermarkets, restaurants, and art galleries is 15 min away (soon to be less when the bridge on Route 332 is completed) The quaint market/restaurant Rose Bay Store is 4 min down the road and they sell wine/beer and a selection of groceries.
The Ovens Park is a few minutes away with incredible views and live music (it's owned by the brother of late folk singer Harry Chapin)
30 min away is the larger town of Bridgewater with a movie theater, supermarkets, restaurants, and the usual fast food choices.
This area offers hiking, beaches, and relaxation. You won't be disappointed.
