The homeowner clearly cares about the experience of those who stay in her home - it was beautifully decorated, smelled lovely, was very clean, and equipped with puzzles, games, and reading material. There is even a sturdy, new swing set out back!"

"So glad I finally got to visit Laurel. What a cute town and this charming cottage was the perfect place to stay. Great location to be able to walk to downtown and loved having the Bird Dog across the street. Delicious cocktails. The house is beautifully decorated and my husband and I loved each having our own bathroom. I would highly recommend! "

"Easy prompt check in and check out. Breakfast was bag type due to construction. Everyone very friendly. Would recommend for any visit to Laurel. Shower pressure a bit weak, though. "

"Very nice and clean room, with comfortable bed and furnishings in top shape. Only complaint would be a somewhat noisy air conditioner (like most units), and my wife said the bathroom floor was sticky (I think it was an antislip coating used on the tile). Breakfast was the typical HIX breakfast, but the fridge was out of yogurt, and no "add-ons" were available for cereal such as nuts, raisins, etc. Front desk staff was super-friendly and to be commended."

"The property was beautiful and so relaxing! Sitting on the porch with the plants and beautiful flowers with butterflies and birds flitting about was very peaceful. Ramon and Jon were very accommodating with a late checkout and helping us “old timers” figure out the tv remote! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and we had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Ramon and Jon were very friendly while giving us the privacy we needed. However, our favorite host was probably their lab, Lady! She was so sweet and welcoming! They offered places to eat and sites to see. We would highly recommend their place and would definitely stay there again!"

The house was spotless and very convenient to downtown Laurel. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or any other properties of hers."
