"We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cottage that is in a perfect location for exploring neighboring towns. Really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace which made the quiet nights even cozier. We're from Door County :) and needed a break from all of the Fall crowds, this trip to Michigan was just what we needed and M119 more than gave us beautiful colors to enjoy without the crowds!! "This little house was great for our fall color change and wine trip. The house is clean, cozy, well organized and had a great cozy feel. The hot tub and fire pit was the icing on the cake for us. Walkable to Walloon Lake Village area, Quick drive to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Bay Harbor and all the area wineries! Really good location. "We loved our stay. There are 2 maintenance issues that did not detract from our enjoyment but the owner should know about. The tv in the upstairs bedroom at the back does nor work. The microwave needs to be replaced. Most of the buttons do not function. We were able to turn it on and manually turn it off after a minute but you cant't use any other button"

"Cabin is immaculate, very well appointed, decor is just lovely....no deer heads on these walls! Comfortable beds, plenty of soft towels and extra pillows/blankets. Nice firepit right beside the river, saw the northern lights our first night! Larry is an excellent host! Stopped in to introduce himself and give a quick walk through of the cabin. "This cabin left us feeling incredibly lucky and humbled to be a part of it for a couple of days. This felt like a pleasant weekend with your most cherished family members and for me it reminds me of my grandmother’s house whom I was fond of. From the family scenery and history, to the animals that call that cabin part of their home/routine. I hope we were able to treat this cabin as well as they treated us. "

"Wonderful cabin, nestled among tall trees. During our stay, the trees were awash in the golden color of fall. The cabin has a great porch that goes the full length of the cabin in front and back. Both porches are adorned with Michigan Adirondac chairs, and a relaxing porch swing on the fron porch. Gorgeous hardwood floors throughout. Very comftorable. Only thing I suggest is a tea kettle! No WiFi in the cabin. We used the Jerk Depot in nearby Alanson. I highly recommend staying at this cabin!"
