"The room was great, big, ocean view and jacuzzi tub was awesome. What I didn't like was the bed. To me that is the most important. If you don't go to sleep because your body hurts because its so hard that just ruins the room. I mentioned this to the front desk. She basically said you can't please everyone. Which is true but I like a softer bed and my husband likes a firmer bed but even he couldn't sleep. We ended up buying a pillow top cover from walmart because we still had 1 more night and...

"The staff are trying their darndest to keep this resort open but Ocean Shores is gradually dying, the dining room and bar have been closed for quite some time. Other properties in and around seemed to be on their last legs. Felt quite sad as this was always our favorite getaway. I think the first night we were the only ones staying at the resort"

"Good ocean view from 3rd floor. Decent room. Needed a few upgrades (sink,sliding door). Windows were dirty so what else was missed?Breakfast was weak. Sausage, hashbrowns biscuits, and gravy and waffles. Bed was comfortable."

"We paid for an upgrade to the Buoy Suite and couldn’t be happier we did. The view was one of a kind with seals regularly playing in the water just in front of our balcony. The staff was always available and pleasant and helpful. Very LGBTQ friendly. The bar/restaurant which is the safe as the hotel staff were awesome."
