"Cant fault this hotel, location, cleanliness and service are all spot on."

"My tiny room was sufficient and quiet,of human noise anyway.The restfulness of my stay was however ruined by some sort of generator or extractor that hummed like an aeroplane on and off night and day outside. Duvet only just warm enough and I am not a fussy person. Place a bit soulless and staff therefore a bit disengaged. It’s an interesting formula for low cost accommodation but needs tweaking back a bit from being quite so basic and functional."

"We were upgraded to a beautiful room when we arrived. We were suposed to stay in another hotel and they moved us here the night before. We had a lovely relaxed stay and the breakfast was very nice. "

"Nice hotel, clean, warm welcoming. Location for Colchester excellent Breakfast lovely, tasty and plentiful, cooked or continental on offer. Rooms spacious, warm. Only low point was no daily housekeeping, so had to replenish tea, coffee, milk from breakfast area, not a real problem lots to pick from there."

"A very speedy change to an accessible room on arrival which was very spacious and quiet. For us, the overnight temperature was a bit too warm, and being on the ground floor didn't feel opening a window was a sensible option! But we managed!"

"The studio rooms were fabulous our party had 3 of these rooms. Large beds, settee and casual chair in each studio, fabulous bathrooms with lovely quality toiletries. "
