The sounds of nature are everywhere and there’s and easy path to wander to the edge of the property if you want to take a stroll. It was also beautifully furnished and we loved hearing about the family history. "We were late arriving and had been anxious, having booked dinner, but Tanguy was a relaxed, understanding, and welcoming host. The room with its window seat, large and well-appointed bathroom, and surroundings were spotless. Despite being only a couple of streets from the busy main road Le Clos des Poulies was peaceful and set in a lovely garden. Dinner was great - thank you Tanguy!"

We were there in strawberry season and were provided with a bowl every morning, along with other items from the list they present."

"Their photo is misleading. It looks like a pleasant guest court yard, but is actually storage for bikes, supplies and the back door of the kitchen and bar. Our room was 3 floors above a small bar on a walking street, up very narrow winding stairs usable for only small carry-on luggage. The room was very basic, but clean. The lobby was small used as reception and breakfast in the morning, but was a bar in the evening with 6 to 8 locals that used all of the available facilities. Parking was...

"We've been welcomed by a very friendly, wonderful couple. We could enjoy the living room in the main house and even the library as well. In the morning the huge breakfast was more like a brunch! Our suite (close to the main house) was very comfortable, with both bedrooms upstairs. Bedrooms are pretty big. The second bedroom with 2 single beds is perfect, for example if there are 2 kids. Just note that you'll have to go through the main bedroom to access the bathroom. You can park your car...
