"This property is ideally located on the river at the Henley Bridge. It is within walking distance of the town and restaurants. Henley is a nightmare for parking but the owner provided parking passes which made the issue much easier. The property is old and as such does have some quirky features in the layout and with all the bedrooms upstairs could be an issue for elderly visitors. "We were looking for a place to stay for a 3 night break in the South Downs and were so lucky to find this gemThe Hay Barn is situated well in Upper Farringdon, set in the grounds of the owners family home. First impressions were great the property was clean and very well appointed, a gift hamper containing fresh baked bread, biscuits, beer and other goodies was a welcome treat. "Wonderful old house on great surrounds, although off a busy road. Unfortunately, kitchen not up to standard due to cleanliness and overall dirt everywhere. Oven desperately needs a good clean. Also plagued with flies seemingly living within the wall cervices. We enjoyed our stay after giving the place (kitchen in particular) a good clean."
