"Just wow! My family enjoyed the stay here. We were picked up by our driver who gave us a great experience as well. We were checked in by Dhaggio and he was so helpful and made sure the check in went smooth and didn't take long. He helped us daily to find restaurants to go to since we wanted to experience Barbados outside of the hotel. He organized our drop offs and pickups which was helpful. My visit was for my Birthday and family trip and my husband worked with Whitley to organize my Birthday surprise and it was one of the best surprises by far. The details to my favorite cake, sweet wine, the Birthday cards (also signed by Fabian and the rest of the staff) and the decor was A . Whitley also helped us get the real Barbados experience and made my family and myself feel like family. Thank you South Point Hotel Staff for a great trip and wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. "

"Great location away from the really touristic areas. We liked the adults only aspect and the location right by the beach. Only two negatives: The beach loungers are only put out at 9.30 am and by two young men who had to drag them across the road from the hotel 3 at a time. This led to people hanging around waiting for them to set up. The food is very good with a variety of choices changing every day. However starters and desserts ran out occasionally with later diners having less choice in the evening. "

"We recently celebrated our 25th anniversary at the Soco Hotel and it was amazing. We had such a great time, it was peaceful and relaxing just what we needed. The guest were mostly older/retired but everyonewas very nice, we are in our mid 40s. If you are looking for a party scene this is not the place. The hotel was in a central location, the room was large with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The beach was rocky, definitely bring water shoes. Chairs and umbrella were provided which was great. There is also a boardwalk that connects the hotel to a lot of local restaurants on the stretch along the ocean. The public beach was only 5 min drive away and free to get in and free parking. If you wanted loungers and an umbrella it was $20 for the day. The receptionist Shaniqua and Ms. Linda at the front desk were friendly and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Ms. Judith our housekeeper that surprised us by decorating our room and was just so kind in making sure we were taken care of. A special thanks to our bartenders Shane and Michelle who were both wonderful and made the best Bajan rum punch ever ank kept the liquor flowing. Thanks to all the hotess/waitresses that served us as well and made us feel special. Cons: Rocky Beach Plus: All meals were made to order and wonderful staff. "
