"The Hamilton seems to be a remodeled motel with some nice, updated fixtures. The property is lakefront and sits on a slight slope so the parking is minimal but sufficient. The room was ground level we stayed in with a back deck overlooking the lake. Everything was clean and what we needed for a two person, one night stay. The noise from upstairs guests walking around was an annoyance but nothing worth getting upset over. If you need somewhere to take your significant other for a quick getaway, this is a great spot."

"The location of Happy Hollow is convenient to the hiking trails, the cold water spring, and a short walk to downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were not firm enough for my needs. Kitchenette was a bonus. Cute retro motel with everything you need. "
