"My wife and I spent 3 wonderful nights at the Sandbar. The bedroom we stayed and the common areas on the ground floor were very inviting and comfortable. Chris and his team went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant visit. Each morning there were two breakfast options (one savory, one sweet) and in the afternoon some homemade treats to go with the coffee and tea. Highly recommend. "

"The Primrose Inn was a pleasant stay. All that was served and offered there was great. Staff were friendly and courteous. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable as well. The area was nice, and safe to walk the streets at night. Shops, restaurants and Island Explorer shuttle bus were all accessible , and a short walking distance from our stay. Highly recommend . "

"Early September I took a weeklong trip and stayed in Elizabeth’s room at Elsa’s. To say it was the perfect choice is an understatement! The property was gorgeous, the room was sweet and cozy and had the perfect view of the harbor (across the street!) The inn keepers were so warm, kind and helpful. And they make THE BEST breakfast. "The property is rustic but nice. There is a bathroom with shower on 1st and 2nd floor but the water pressure in the house does not sustain use of both at the same time. The main kitchen refrigerator was not working during our stay. There are minifridges on the 2nd and 3rd floor but it would have been nice to have working main floor fridge."

"Normally my wife and I are not big bed and breakfast people. However, Harbour Cottage had some of the best reviews in the Acadia National Park area. We gave it a try and we are so glad we did. "Property was very nice and clean. Just 3 cabins on site so a small establishment. The owner/manger seemed nice. There were pastries etc for breakfast but we had bagels with us which we toasted in the toaster in the cabin and had with some nice hot coffee. The roon was mostly well appointed. The bed was a bit soft for us but others may like it. Best part is you can walk to the lighthouse which makes great sense during sunset times. "
