"Returned from full day of sightseeing, FOB didn’t work (10:30 PM). No one answered call via call button. Thankfully, fellow guest let me in. WiFi is complete rubbish in common areas. Groceries were discarded prior to my departure (staff gave me complimentary salad-yum!). No electrical outlets/USB by beds. And, yes beds are RIGHT next to each other-bit weird. Pros? "We couldn't fault our stay here, the staff were friendly, room was immaculate and the pool was a lovely way to start the day. You can walk into Basel in around 20 minutes or there is a tram stop just down the road."

"The location was great, the windows of the room was not adequate. Only one of 3 windows could be open and when you open thw window /thwre was no acxess to walk from the bed. The AC was none existance and on 49F temp evening the room was 73F inside! They switch us to another room at 11pm, but temp was probably 70f blowing hot air . Their Wify was Very Slow!"

"The hotel staff, especially Elmira, was very helpful, professional and friendly. Her reception made me feel very welcomed. The stay was very pleasant and the hotel itself very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to any frequent travellers and would definitely stay again if visiting Basel."

"The hotel was in an excellent location to explore Basel and access public transport. If you are attending the conference centre but want to stay centrally, the tram stop is less than a minute's walk with frequent direct trams. The staff were lovely and the room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again."
