"Very relaxed stay in a cute accommodation - perfect for a couple nights away. Checking in and out was very good. Only improvements would be that the hair dryer was missing, and the animals kept me awake all night. Other than that, the stay was amazing and would definitely come again."

"Nicely furnished apartment with comfortable sofas and beds, and a good array of kitchenware. Easy walking distance to cathedral and city centre along riverside path or beside the canal. Quiet at night. 42 steps up to the front door - fine for us but may not be for others. Only problem for me during a hot week was the window-doors, which I could not open in the main living room as they are so stiff. On the days when my husband was staying, even he (who is much stronger than me) had trouble...

Very well appointed with clean, comfortable bedrooms, very well equipped kitchen which is large enough for several people to work in at any one time - ideal for groups of people. Quiet area with access to lovely garden. Welcome pack was much appreciated and great starter for the week."

"Thank you for such a memorable stay, it was just the escape we needed in these times. The set up is perfect. We enjoyed use of the pool, games room and private hot tub. Although in place for covid it was nice having a pool timetable for each of the guests. We loved the welcome hamper, a really personal touch and the shepherds hut itself was very cosy and well equipped. We also enjoyed some of the recommended pubs and restaurants local to the area. "A warm welcome from Jim got our break of to an excellent start. We know the area well as our daughter lives close by, but we've never spotted this secluded spot before. The bird song was incredible and the only thing we could hear. Jim was very helpful, kind and thoughtful and the extra's left out as norm were very welcome. We hope to stay again when they have a vacancy. We've just tried and the accommodation is already booked out for the dates we require."
