"The Hacienda Iluminada was the perfect place to stay after a long trip from California. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the hacienda exceeded all of our expectations. Before our arrival, the owner of the hacienda was in constant communication with me. Upon arrival we were greeted by Angel and his wife. They were extremely welcoming. "The room we had was absolutely horrible. There was an electrical plug dangling next to the shower head and There were missing outlet covers. The communication was awesome and once we told them, they understood why we were not staying there any longer. "

"Great location. Home needs some upkeep but the pool and location were great. Home has antiquated appliances that mostly work as they should. Maintenance could be better on building ,exterior was decent. Interior was fairly clean but a good coat of paint is needed. Location is great, near the beach. No AC but plenty of fans."
