"We really enjoyed our week stay. Rod and Zeena have thought of everything for the holiday makers both in and out of the gite. They greeted us so warmly on our arrival and provided us with the essentials for the first night, including cold beers in the fridge as we stepped out of our car! The pool was so nice to come home to, and we didn't have enough time to try all the games, bikes, and things available on site! "We had a perfect stay in Elske’s beautiful property in Chadenac. It is really well equipped with a lovely warm pool and plenty to keep us amused such as basketball, table tennis and trampolining. We were looked after very well by Elske’s Team. It was perfectly situated for trips into the château town of Jonzac and historic Pons and only 40 minutes from the estuary towns of Mortagne and Talmont. A stay here is very highly recommended."

"Large family holiday, ages varying from 2-60. Beautiful house, great outdoor area with outside pergola and table plenty big enough to sit all 13 of us which was great. As in description location is very rural so definitely need cars, but supermarket is 10 mins drive away. Estelle was very helpful leading up to our holiday, and during our stay. Answering all our questions and popped by to make sure we were happy with everything. Local area very pretty, but we stayed in August and everywhere...

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Thank you for a lovely stay in the house. The kids enjoyed the sports facilities and the development is peaceful and secure. "Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"
