"The property was extremely tired and run down and did not reflect how it was advertised on the Expedia website. We paid extra for a spa bath which when we turned it on, filled the room with the smell of sewage- we obviously therefore did not use it! Our room smelled damp and there was evidence of mould on the ceiling in our room and in communual areas. The furniture was battered and broken and the shower rusty."

"This hotel is beautiful! our room was spacious, ocean view & poolside! It had a fridge, very good AC and a wonderful breakfast with made to order eggs! The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. They even helped us to get a taxi back to São Paulo, which was a real challenge through normal channels. There are mosquitoes, as the grounds are very lush and green, so remember your bug spray. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! "

"The hotel made sure to mention that English was available and the staff spoke it, but I only met one person who spoke English when I was checking out. That being said, I didn’t have too much trouble communicating. The view from the balcony is amazing and a 12/10. The hotel definitely seemed older than they let on with the pictures but otherwise a clean bed and towels.
