"Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! "A fantastic relaxing retreat for anyone that likes a bit of peace and quiet. A real escape from daily life. Beautiful surroundings in woodland with fantastic hosts, making it a perfect retreat. Will definitely be going back sometime soon. "

Great location

"I arrived early but was able to access my room straight away. I was initially told that my room still had to be paid for but I had prepaid. This was resolved quickly however. The hotel is conveniently located on a regular bus route and I took the opportunity to visit Blaenau Ffestiniog 20 minutes away. The evening meal was excellent with plenty of choice on the menu. My room was fine and extremely comfortable. Some slight traffic noise as it was at the front of the property."

"Jo Stephen are warm and welcoming, very friendly and attentive. The hotel is perfect for us, warm clean and cosy, a wonderful location, with the most magnificent views of the bay. The sunrise from bed this morning was incredible 💖 many thanks to Jo Stephen for looking after us during our stay, lots of tips on local knowledge. Carparking very convenient too. Lovely stay"

Mini break away for a couple

"Lovely place to stay staff friendly clean beds comfortable .stairs very steep need to take your time with them people with poor mobility would find them hard to cope .there is room for 2 cars to park opposite hotel or need to park in carpark a 2-5 minute walk away .you can purchase a parking pass for £5 per day to stay there and it also cover other cars named on list in different car parks food served is very good in the restaurant not too pricey ."

Lovely hotel, great base to explore Llyn Peninsula

"We were very impressed with the Lion Hotel in Criccieth. It is in a great position with plenty of parking. It is a traditional character hotel, clean, well maintained and decorated with lovely staff. It was also great value, would recommend as a base to explore the beautiful Llyn Peninsula."
