"Very convenient location just a few minutes walk outside Bootham Bar. Parking was on street and cost £5 per day for a permit ( arranged by owner on arrival). Double en suite room was comfortable and clean, and great for a 3 night stay. "No previous knowledge room was loft room... wooden beams a nuisance if you are tall. Too hot as heating left on. TV signal temperamental also. Room clean, beds very comfy, shared bathroom no problem. Hosts pleasant. Good value for money. Town easily accessible. Worth a stay here. "

Lots of parking right outside (ensure to request a virtual parking permit in advance) - fabulously clean, room with an incredibly comfy bed (really important to both of us due to back issues). Shared bathroom no issues, spotless and no waits even tho the property was fully booked. Breakfast absolutely fantastic, people lovely, and a very short walk to the city walls thru the park. We will be back - fabulous stay - thank you!!"

"The location is unbeatable but amenities were sparse - like towels - and it felt like the decor was more important than the comfort factor. The bed was uncomfortable, there were no pegs to hang up your 2 towels, and there was no air flow. Just a fan. It felt like more of an AirBnb than a hotel. If you’re looking for a place where there’s someone to greet you and help you with extra needs and/or recommendations- this is not the place to be. "
