"The property has been beautifully furnished and is very charming. Itā€™s handy for the town centre and the Brewery Arts Centre. Weā€™d recommend the Moon restaurant and The Fell bar on Lowther Street. Parking is not convenient or available and we were disappointed that the parking permit we were promised was not available when we arrived. We had to park in a town centre car park and buy a 3 day ticket. Although the property was well equipped especially with books! (The reading corner is amazing), we...

"We had a really enjoyable stay at Woodpecker Cottage. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and 60th anniversary, there was plenty of room for all 13 family members inside the property and we enjoyed the outside space using all the facilities. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The bedrooms/bedding/towels all lovely and clean. We would recommend a stay at this property."
