"We had a wonderful holiday, the perfect blend between out-and-about every day to local markets and towns, lunches, wine and chilled beers in shady squares. Kayaking expedition back to Aubeterre-sur-Dronne. The farmhouse is a wonderful base from which to explore from. Then, after a day out, returning to enjoy the pool (which is magnificent). "The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. It was a great location for our extended family getaway. The pool was perfect and provided good shade for the children.
