"This was our first time using VRBO and unfortunately the places we stay at in the future will have a hard time living up to the standard that Leslie set at Sea La Vie. She started by including all the information we could possibly need to make our trip there, and stay, as seamless as possible. And truly, it couldn’t have gone any smoother. Then there’s the house, location, and all the amenities. It was beyond all of our expectations. Our family of seven, including 5 adults and two young children had ample space and enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. My daughter claimed she has never slept so good because of the mattress and pillows in her room. The house is beautifully and artfully decorated with a convenient layout. We loved the convenience of the 2 golf carts and used the kayaks. Our favorite part, though, was the location. We were right on the beach, and literally had it to ourselves for all but one day of our stay. And boy were we entertained daily. Dolphins swam and played sometimes only about 5 yards from the shore. We had a heron regularly visit and the Ospreys entertained us by trying to build a nest on the neighbor’s air conditioning unit. We also saw enormous iguanas (One my granddaughter named Mango because he was orange and green),and shelled to our hearts content. We also spotted many starfish and even a puffer fish in the seaweed. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay and Leslie and Ally were so helpful with everything!! "

"The home is amazing. It’s truly beautiful and equipped with everything you can think of (not pantry items), but everything else including everything you need for outdoor grilling, beach chairs, pool towels/floats,pack n plays, games, etc. Owner was very responsive & helpful. Unfortunately we were there less than a month post hurricane, so there were a few kinks. The island is working hard to come back, but so much devastation all around. Unfortunately, golf carts were hurricane collateral damage which was a bummer & made transportation difficult, but did not ruin our time. (This is reason for my 4 on property accuracy.) N Captiva is a beautiful place. We look forward to returning & seeing the island with its beauty (& less hurricane debris)."

"Beautiful property on a beautiful island! The property was very nice and clean. Host answered questions very quickly. I do think the damage deposit is very high and I was a little stressed about the refund process (which is VRBO not the host). The refund took a full 2 weeks from VRBO. I’m only including that fact in this review in case anyone else is curious about it. "

"We enjoyed the house and would stay again. It has everything you’d need for a great Pine Island vacation. The house is clean, well maintained and comfortable. Great location right down the street from the Tarpon Lodge and Pineland marina. Next time we hope the weather is better and we can enjoy the beautiful screened porch."

"We had a very large group (19) and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful house! The property management company and owner were kind enough to make sure the house was stocked with enough beach chairs and outdoor games for us prior to our visit. It was a bit of a bummer that 2 of the 3 golf carts that came with the house were not working but the carts were an added perk of the house. I did make some recommendations on some items the house was missing to support such a large group but overall it was a great experience! Even through a tropical storm we were in great shape as the house has an all house generator and water system! I would highly reccomend!"

"The location is best on island from what I could tell. You can see gulf and bayside. Sunsets are amazing. Wildlife and seashells abound. The beaches are secluded for the most part with an occasion couple or family but night and day when compared to some of the more “touristy” places we have stayed along 30A. We will most certainly return. The owner and caretakers went out of their way to ensure our stay was amazing. Stephanie, Wendy and Bob were excellent communicators!"

"The service was great. If we needed something the property managers got it for us. If this is your first time know going in that the only way to get here is by ferry and they only run certain times of the day. So if flying into Fort Myers plan accordingly. There is no grocery store on island so everything is ordered online and brought over by ferry as well. That process is easy. Great for big groups and families."
