"Pleasant stay, the main noise was from other guests talking loudly / slamming car doors first thing in the morning. Basic facilities in the room (kettle, plates etc, no microwave). Shampoo tube from a previous occupant was left sitting on the shower screen is why I took a star off for cleanliness, otherwise it seemed good. A couple of blocks from the main street, it was fairly convenient. Wifi was a decent 35mbps downloading when I tested it. I'd stay again for 1-2 nights, otherwise I'd seek a more spacious room/additional facilities."

"This was a great place to stay, at a great price. The welcome at reception was very friendly, the staff clearly know their stuff and love their jobs. Rooms were spotlessly clean and serviced very well. It's a little far out of the main part of town if you don't have a car but hey...it's a motor inn! The restaurant was often full and I hear the food was fantastic (although I didn't personally eat there). Would definitely recommend."

"On the road to Melbourne arriving after 11pm. Quick phone call, not a problem to checkin late. Greated at the door by friendly staff, although late we were able to chat. Great room, clean with a very comfortable bed. FANTASTIC!!"

"I have been here before and am used to the rundown condition. Mostly tradesmen but also many regular colourful characters. This time I got room 26 in the courtyard. It was noisy until 11 pm. Next time I will ask for a room facing the carpark - last time I had 12 or 12A which were much quieter . Sheets were clean as usual. Didn't use the TV. Fridge works fine "
