"My two friends and I had a weekend away at Logie Cottages. We had a wonderful time. The cottage is a very high standard and has all the amenities you might need. The hot tub was great and the setting is picturesque. Georgina allowed us to check in early. I would recommend staying here. "

"We had been looking forward to our weekly stay in Scotland for almost 3 years. Sadly, the villa did not meet our high expectations. First, the villa was in a nice location in Blairgowrie with a large yard, and a quiet neighborhood. The house has great character but it is old and rustic. There are 10 bedrooms inside the main house and 8 cottages in the courtyard. Ten of them are king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. "On the surface this house has a lot going for it but once you peel back a layer there are some issues. You get what you pay for...Let me start by saying the location in Scotland is great for access to many sightseeing locations but the house is on the main road and the bedrooms bordering the road do not allow anyone to sleep past 6am unless you are used to sleeping next to a busy road. I was taken off guard by the note from the host several days before arrival saying they are still updating the...

"Quite rural - 1.75m from the proper road and 15/20 min from Perth which was a bit far for us. Nice cottage. Comfortable beds etc A few bits that you usually get in holiday homes were missing eg tin foil, hand wash. There was only one oven mit & some of the crockery/cooking things needed a wash before use."

Fabulous Quirky Hotel !

"Fabulous gem in the centre of Pitlochry. We had the small double which was fine for the one night. My parents had the larger double & huge bed. Lovely Highland Soap toiletries in the toilets. The staff were really lovely and attentive. Fantastic breakfast the following morning. It would have been good to have the option of fresh fruit. "

Well earned break

"Warm welcome awaited us at Hotel combined with a personal walk around hotel and grounds by concierge service. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Food at breakfast was delicious and served individually which meant it was hot. Dinner was fantastic with a varied and interesting menu. Service by staff in both restaurant and bar was great without being intrusive. But the star attraction at breakfast, dinner and drinks in the bar was the view."

One night isn't enough!

"Despite only being available for the first night of a weekend break, the lure of staying at the Atholl Palace Hotel couldn't be resisted. We arrived long before we could check in at 3.30pm, so time was spent using the luxury spa facilites and in the bar. We also had a good wander through the wee museum, which was fascinating! The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was spacious and wonderfully decorated, and the bed extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with so much choice available. Definitely one for a revisit in the future, for more than one though next time!"
