"Highgate is greatly located at the end of Church Street, the 'pub street' of Bangalore with many places to shop, eat, have a beer. The 'garden'/White Room restauran quiet and peaceful oasis, good food and service and pleasantly designed. The rooms are so-so, shower was working poorly, difficult to get hot water in the evening, the free wifi at my floor wasn't working until my last day. Hotel service is so-so (wifi not working for 5 days), I was promised late check-out against half-a-day's rate...

There are plenty of staff members who are polite and well mannered. But the manager has horrible decorum. He refuses to have conversations about any disputes.
