Bandholm, an idyllic coastal village on Lolland, invites you to spend relaxing and varied days in its picturesque location. The charming harbour offers the opportunity to take boat trips on the Nakskov Fjord, while the nearby sandy beach is perfect for sunbathing and swimming. A highlight is the Knuthenborg Safari Park, the largest of its kind in Northern Europe. Here you can go on safari and experience exotic animals up close. For garden lovers, a visit to Knuthenborg Castle Park is a must, where you can stroll through historic gardens and landscaped parks. In the surrounding area, the town of Maribo is well worth a visit, with its impressive cathedral and the Maribo Lakes Nature Park. There you can go hiking, birdwatching or enjoy a relaxing boat trip.
