The property is at the end of a quiet and secluded hilltop, but also very close to all the amenities of San Antonio and the hill country.Our host was fantastic - friendly, attentive and rightfully proud of his property. It was well appointed and comfortable and we didn’t lack for anything. We are very conservative in our reviews but will unreservedly give this 5 stars in every category. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"Our stay at this beautiful property was perfect. The bed was comfortable, it was secluded, quiet and clean. The separate living room gave us both space. The host even provided snacks and fresh half and half for our coffee. Access to the property and casita were easy. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood near the golf course. We saw deer grazing in the morning as we headed out for our day. Very relaxing stay. Thank you!"

"We stopped for groceries before we got to Leakey. The barndo is cute, just be careful on the drive out because the road is gravel and without 4 wheel drive it's a bit tricky. We almost couldn't get out in the minivan. Otherwise cute little area and beautiful views. "

"The place was great, but a little bit noisy from traffic on the highway nearby. The host was responsive to our requests. The only big issue was the very skinny spiral stairs leading to the bedrooms. Fine for those under age 30, but maybe not so easy for us. We're all old and over 65. We're all in very good shape, so it didn't make much difference, but it might for some."

"The property was overall a great experience. Tha games kept the kids entertained. There was plenty of room for 11 people. The downside was that they advertised a hot tub and there wasnt one. Also it advertised queen beds, but they were full size beds except the king in the master. These are things i would have wanted to know. The location was great and the host was fantastic. They answered very promptly every time i had questions. "
