"Kind people operating it. The property has a great view to the Pico Mountain, there are multiple houses lined up on a small street. It's a very peaceful vibe. "This is a great place to stay if you’re looking to be close to the ferry port. It’s about a 15 minute walk downtown, which is great to enjoy the awesome restaurants Horta has to offer. "We really enjoyed our stay in Faial. The apartment is spacious, stocked and in a nice location. We had some people with mobility issues and the stairs were hard for them. Be aware there is no handrail. Enjoy the views, they are incredible."

The house was laid out in a way where we each slept well in separate bedrooms, but could lounge in the front room. The outdoor patio had a fantstic view!
