"the interior of hotel is good, but the exterior building would need a coat of paint. i will consider staying there again. maybe have a safe deposit box in each room - why ? your clients will want to go to pulau, so they can lock their passport and valuables in the room , rather than using the front safe. SO PLS IMPLEMENT A SAFE IN EACH ROOM INCLUDING ECONOMY ROOMS WITHOUT WINDOWS AT LEVEL 2. "

"Enjoyable stay and a great budget property choice. Staff were all helpful, Wi-Fi good, rooms, although snug, more than adequate for sleeping and showering. The one thing that let the property down was the lack of options at breakfast. Everyday a different breakfast meal was given but you had no idea what it would be and didnā€™t have another option to choose if it wasnā€™t to your liking. That said, the quality of the food was good. Would happily stay at the property again if looking for somewhere...

"Did a late booking since hotels.com said it was aviable rooms. Upon arrival the hotel didn't have rooms though hotel room was booked and paid. The owner did not seem to care or be helpful at all when we arrived and there were no rooms available. It's understandable that there is misunderstandings, but the owner didn't seem to be bothered."

"Well I was quite surprise with the room rate as it was cheaper than any other hotel or accomodation. But what I'm abit dissapointed was the clealiness of the room. First thing I saw when I switched on the light are the cockroaches on the bed..Eeww... gross and disguisting!!! Other than that, the washing basin also not in good condition. It was clogged and caused the water can't drain out. As for entertainment.. there are just few tv channels for selection. And it was bored. I rather...

"Halo hostel is a good option for couples travelling. The rooms are small, but have storage space, individual bathrooms and are clean. The area is really good if you want convenience. Walkable to the downtown area and jetty. Breakfast is made to order eggs, toast, fruit and coffee. My only con is that it does get a bit loud at night from surrounding bars, so just bring ear plugs."
