Only negatives are that checkin wasn't very friendly which seemed strange, but not a big deal, and the little things aren't quite up to a true 5 star resort, e.g. towels are a bit thread bear, gym has old equipment, small 32"(ish) tv, etc. But at the price we paid, it's excellent and exceeded expectations. "We had a lovely welcome on arrival with some thai tea whilst we checked in. We stayed in one of the suites which was very clean, spacious and well decorated.
