"I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. The hotel and grounds, staff, room, restaurant, etc...were all excellent. I had a river view balcony room, which was the perfect spot to relax. The restaurant, Tara, had amazing food and a very nice waiter, Tay. I enjoyed every moment at this hotel."

"The staff and stay was fantastic! The elephants seemed a bit bored and it felt like they needed more time spent or less…I’m not sure. For the price the stay and space was exquisite. I’m not sure what to feel about the elephants and the treatment of them."

"We enjoyed our stay here. Our cabin overlooked rice fields that was very pleasant, especially seeing farmers working in their fields. Lots of tour groups stay here so meal times can be busy. Breakfast buffet was extensive. We did not eat dinner here. The pool looked lovely especially at night time."

"First night the room was near reception and was very noisy. We complained and were moved to probably the quietest room in the hotel. Thanks. Couldn't get an iron (only laundry service quick was closed for the night!). Breakfast was just about adequate. "

"We had a lovely welcome on arrival with some thai tea whilst we checked in. We stayed in one of the suites which was very clean, spacious and well decorated. The bathroom had a spa like feel and the toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and soap) all contained in little pottery bottles were divine. We stayed for 4 nights and ate in the restaurant twice in the evening - for which there was a good choice of meals and not too expensive. We had breakfast each morning which again had a good choice and you...

"Amazing property! Located right on the Mekong River with a river view, the location could not be beat! It was obvious the hotel was barely booked (low season) and we asked for an upgrade, room with a river view. Ours looked out on another cottage and they said yes for an extra charge. They could have easily given us another room as they were so under booked and it would have been a nice gesture. Anyway we said no thank you as it was only one night.
