"We had a great stay at Clarion Aurora. We only knocked off one star. Staff front desk was not aware if local calls would be charged to the room. I was asked to ask the next attendant on the next shift. I would think this would be a question staff should know, and if they dont know, I would think they would find out, not ask me to ask the next person."

"Perfectly situated near the water with a beautiful view over the mountains, bridge and Arctic Cathedral from the front and the pretty town and hillside to the back of the hotel. Great breakfast in the morning with everything you could want and good quality food. Friendly helpful staff all around. Nice looking modern hotel. Rooms were good but small. We booked a cosy room and were upgraded to the next size up as we were there for 7 nights which we really appreciated but that wasn't huge. Cosy rooms really are for 1 or 2 night stays I think. Most comfortable bed, bedding and pillows so had a good nights sleep. Housekeeping forgot to do our room one day but that's the only grumble. Perfectly situated for walking into town and all restaurants. Jonas Pizza restaurant in front of hotel was good and there's a bar nextdoor too. Taxi and coach pickup point at the front of the hotel. Local tours picked up from outside hotel or the hotel over the road. Boating tours are a 10 minute walk away. Nothing is that far and is in walking distance. Definitely would stay here again."

"The location, the hotel, and most especially the staff are awesome. I had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant ( Oct. 19th) and there 2 ladies and a gentleman who seems genuinely happy with what they do and they made me feel at home. The same goes for the front desk the next day when I checked out. It is rare for me to leave reviews but I am glad I made the decision to drive and stay with Malangen Resort. Plus, Auora Borealis gave me 2 separate shows on top of that."
