"Very friendly staff. Very clean accommodation. We didn't have the breakfast as I don't eat it but it certainly smelled amazing. Have had it in the past and it was well worth the money. Room if anything was too hot. Bed comfortable. Very close to main shopping area with lots of places to eat. Close to Eden Court Theatre if you fancied an evening out. We try and stay there every time we are in Inverness. This is our fourth time now. Would thoroughly recommend it but book quickly as very popular."

"Stayed for one night following completion of the NC500. Good to see Loch Ness although we missed Nessie on this occasion! Very easy check in and great facilities right in the centre of town. A few places to grab food nearby. We had a Chinese takeaway. "

"My wife and I stayed here while on a three day tour and was a 10 minute walk from the coach drop off point in town. The owners messaged us access details the morning of the day we were to check in. Rooms are locked by a secure code and so is the front door. The room was very neat and cozy, and spotless. The area is quiet and there is minimal vehicle traffic in the morning and at night. "Somewhat disappointing. No one was there to check us in of inquire about our needs. Kind of eerie to stay at a hotel and not see anybody else (employees or guests) during our stay. Plus there was no Highland Cattle plush in our room as their web-site pictures suggest. Otherwise, a comfortable room that was clean and well-maintained."

"Got the personal tour from Gail. Had the delux double which was very spacious and well equipped. Anything you need was available ether already there or just ask and all staff cheery n helpful. Great value for money and lovely fresh butcher supplied cooked breakfast. Sadly was a flying visit, but highly recommend for a single night or longer stay."

"Fantastic. We stayed at the Highlands Suites 2 years ago and that was great but this was better. Amazing location, easy to find and navigate. Clean, well appointed and spacious for our family of 5. Grocery Shopping at M&S is always an adventure, restaurants on the river are easily walkable and Main Street shopping is right outside the door. Parking is offsite at the Eastgate Ctr but worked fine. Much less Agro than on premises parking at Highlands Suites. Excellent, Excellent… highly recommend. "

"A wonderful old hotel, so convenient for public transport users, especially the train. Well that was why it was built. It would always be my first choice of places in Inverness. If you wish to be negative you could say finding the upper rooms is not straightforward. To me, that's a great characteristic - you may find yourself coming down by the right or left side of the wonderful staircase - it's very bonnie."
