"What can you say about the castle it's absolutely gorgeous people were wonderful. The history surrounding it the beautiful lake it's a wonderful place to go and relax. I do wish there would have been a snack bar closer but other than that oh my gosh the warm croissants in the morning Yes it's absolutely the best eggs Benedict I have ever eaten so bravo someday maybe I'll go back"

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"We stayed in knock house hotel as we were attending a funeral in Ballyhaunis. The staff were very friendly & the meal we had was beautiful as was the breakfast. The hotel is spotless. The room was lovely & warm. Love the exposed stone & the view of the shrine from the picture window behind the reception & beautiful views over the countryside from the large window on the other side. Beautifully designed that all rooms have a view of the garden. Would definitely stay again. "

"We had a wonderful stay. We had a kettle for tea or coffee in our room with milk provided and delicious little cookies as well. Hillary, the owner brought us a water in a pitcher and glasses if we were thirsty. Breakfast was delicious with options ranging from a full breakfast to a continental breakfast.
