"Charming little hotel right on Saratoga Lake. Format is an old-style "tavern on the bottom, small rooms above" configuration. The room was snug and outfitted in a clean, updated Colonial fashion. Didn't give 5 stars for service, not because it was bad, but it was essentially self-check and stay. Lovely to wake up to the lake outside our window. A couple of caveats that might affect your choice. The rooms are small (at least ours was), so don't plan on spreading your stuff out. If you can't...

"This is a lovely older B n B in a beautiful area. We enjoyed our stay here; however by using the codes at front door and room , it felt rather cold not having contact with anyone the entire time we were here. On a positive not; the room was huge, the bath was nice, the quiet, peaceful view out back was nice and the grab and go breakfast was adequate. "

"We had a group of 9 at the house for the weekend. It’s in a good location, about 10-15 mins to downtown Saratoga, SPAC, and the track. The heated pool is awesome, we spent a lot of time in it. The house was nice and clean when we arrived. Overall, I’d recommend this as a great place to stay. The only negative was the grill. We planned to use it but decided not to because it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned this summer and we didn’t want to risk a grease fire."

"The owners were amazing. Easy to deal with and they checked up with me daily to see how things were going. They are in the process of updating every room of this rental. They have focused on the high traffic areas first. The pool area, deck, and gazebo are amazing. I wish we had the time to enjoy them. Once the upgrades have been completed this property will be amazing"

Boat is not for renter's use unless host is able to find time to take you out

"Hose and host were perfect. Great convenient location. Home is warm and cozy. Perfect getaway spot for a weekend or longer. Highly recommended "

Great Stay Lots of Perks

"We arrived at 6:15 and we were pleasantly surprised a reception Happy Hour for guests went to 7 pm with 2 drinks each and snacks. In the morning the breakfast buffet and made to order omlettes went until 10 am and check out was at noon. It is nice they extend their hours for guests wirh varying schedules. The entire staff was super nice and friendly. The rooms and beds very comfortable. There is also a salon and spa attached which is an independently run, but it made it convienent for a hair appt. It was a great experience and value. "
