"This is an older hotel and could use new beds and bedding. The shower has been remodeled and is nice but it is impossible not to get water everywhere. The bathroom steams up so badly they have a plate on the door telling you not to leave the door open when showering or you will set off the alarm. "We spent 5 nights at the thatched cottage to use as a home base for day trips to Southern Ireland. It was like stepping back in time but with modern conveniences!! The large farm was peaceful and so much fun to explore. The property was close to Adare for stores and restaurants but yet so private. We did love being visited very day by the two dogs!! Lastly, David was so responsive, helpful and a pleasure to handle everything during the rental. We highly recommend this property."
