"A planned overnight at this Shannon Airport Hotel turned into two nights after a huge windstorm caused the cancellation of our morning flight to London. The staff went overboard to allow us to continue to stay another night...as there was huge demand for accommodations by other travelers wishing to depart the next day. "We spent 5 nights at the thatched cottage to use as a home base for day trips to Southern Ireland. It was like stepping back in time but with modern conveniences!! The large farm was peaceful and so much fun to explore. The property was close to Adare for stores and restaurants but yet so private. We did love being visited very day by the two dogs!! Lastly, David was so responsive, helpful and a pleasure to handle everything during the rental. We highly recommend this property."
