"Gort wouldn't be an obvious choice of location, but we stayed for nollaig na mban ( aka little Christmas) and were pleasantly surprised. The area is rich in culture and literary hustory. Fans of WB Yeats and the abbey theatre are in for a treat. Also, the natural landscape and geology are unique, being right beside the burren. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has an excellent bar and food ootion. Staff are polite and wrlcoming. Would definitely recommend it. "

"Drove around Ireland with my son for almost three weeks staying in a different place each night and this was by far our favorite hotel. Lovely clean comfortable rooms friendly staff. Hotel, cafe across the street, and pizza place next door are all owned by the same nice guy and what really set this place apart other than the great rooms was the food. Included breakfast is basically anything off the menu at the cafe across the street and the pizza place had the best pizza we had in Ireland. They were sold out otherwise we would have happily extended our stay another day. Pub up the street has good live music too. Highly recommend this place!"

"Just 50km from Galway and in the countryside, this home was a wonderful base for explorations from Connemara down to Limerick. We could have fared further but for lack of time. The home is quite charming, Brid gave us excellent recommendations for nearby eateries and had stocked the home with information useful to tourists. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is considering a visit while the home is available. "
