"The best place to stay. This is boutique accommodation on a quiet street, a short drive to the main attractions. I loved being surrounded by nature in the pool, seeing beautiful birds and monkeys in the trees, bats and fireflies at night. Staying here was the highlight of our time in Galle. "A gorgeous spot a little back from the beach (about 1km) but walkable, and easy to get tuktuks. No frills rooms that were delightful. Super friendly hosts who are very familiar with the area and can offer advice and recommendations if needed. The most fabulous breakfast selection each morning, always with variation. Would love to return and totally recommend this spot. "

"The hotel is small and friendly and set in a lovely position, it's quite basic but this is all part of the charm, the staff are all friendly but I'm not sure that this is completely genuine. The free breakfast is more than ample, only the two family rooms appear to have T.V. the hotel menu is limited. "Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel is located right on the beach, the ocean is just a step away. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe slow at peak times but you need to understand that food is made to order and NOT premade. Breakfast is a delicious spread of Sri Lankan and Western dishes, with a good selection of breads, fruits and juices. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality at Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel."

Great hotel on the beach.

"Enjoyed our one night stay at this beach hotel. We had a lovely sea facing room with a balcony . Breakfast was buffet style and had a wide variety of food. The hotel has a small infinity pool and beach loungers with shade. We appreciated being able to order food and drink from the beach. The hotel has a gym and spa and friendly staff. Only slight downside, the hotel is a little out of the main town. Overall, a great place to relax."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The welcome was amazing!!! The rooms were beautiful. The pool was amazing! It’s right on the beach! The food was exxxxxcellent!!! We will stay here again. One of our favorite hotels in all of Sri Lanka! Madhushan helped us with our bags and was very helpful! Krishmal cleaned our room and it was SPOTLESS!! So clean and beautiful! We really appreciated each of the staff who served us. We will be back! Excellent job! "
