"Absolutely lovely stay. John was a fantastic host and the room was lovely. So very clean and easy enough to unload our luggage and get comfy. John was kind and welcoming and in the morning had a nice simple spread for breakfast and then we got to feed the alpacas and sheep which was unique! Definitely recommend a stay here as the property was beautiful just watch your drive in! "

"This was a last minute booking for us as we had to change a date. We've been in NZ for thirty days and this is the only large hotel we've stayed in. The bedroom was spotlessly clean, shower great, bed comfy but what was great was the fact that there was a washing machine and tumble drier in the ensuite!! We had breakfast included too which was a nice treat but the coffee choice was poor. Oh and I loved the thick towels in the room. Great location too."

"Room was great and a touch updated. Spacious also. The bathroom was dated in our room. Pretty small too. Bathtub Shower combined, and the hand basin was tiny and very low - not sure how a 6 footer person will manage. Good wifi access too. Walkable to north or south ends of Dunedin.
