"The property owners were so nice and helpful. They helped us get a cab to go to dinner because there is nothing close to the property. The property was sufficient for a one night pre-cruise stay. We booked three rooms, one of which was spacious and had a great water view. The other two were smaller and simple. It was definitely good value for the price and if you are just looking for a place to stay for the night."

"This is a great place to stay in Mauritius if your happy with a basic level of service, i.e. good comfy beds, clean room, decent shower. This is not a 5 star resort but then its not pretending to be. Did not have any problems at all - check in was smooth with Eric. Gave us a room on the 3rd floor, so carrying luggage was a bit of hassle. Rooms were cleaned daily and beds made, very helpful and cheerful cleaners. Managed to leave a few nights early and got our refund directly from the owner...

Staff were very attentive, more than you would expect in this kind of hotel, which was not really for me, but some people like that level of service. Note long trousers and closed shoes if you want to eat dinner at the hotel (we didn't have either). Walking distance to the beach and the few restaurants in town (recommend the Cloud) and good parking if you have your own car. "
