"A last minute, 1 night booking before we flew home found us here. The apartment was spacious for 4 of us, the bathroom is tiny but we had everything we needed. Very clean and in a very good location."

"Everything in the apartment has been thought about. Wanted to cook in for a couple of days and the kitchen was superb. Really appreciated the Christmas cushions and tablecloth and wine/water in the fridge. View from balcony was great and tv had everything from bbc to Netflix.Highly recommended "

The location was great, easy walk to town. The area is quiet, yet close to town. We had anissue with the heating, however, Chris was great in resolving that very quickly. "

"The apartment is a short walk from the railway and bus stations, and not much further is central Faro and the harbour.It has a lovely large balcony which we could not use unfortunately because of the poor weather when we were there"

"Catarina was the perfect host for our stay. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the central location for walking east and west and easy to catch Uber to Faro or Loule. "

"This apartment is excellent. It is modern, spacious, well furnished and with excellent appliances so is ideal for self caterers. It is in a great spot within the complex, on the ground floor and close to the pool area which whilst I was staying was very quiet. The whole area is quiet. Location is good, quite a short walk to the Marina and the centre of Vilamoura for shops and restaurants. "Location was great, downside however, we were not given the Wi fi password. Also, there was not enough wardrobe space. Lastly, the 4th bedroom was on the 3rd floor with a very steep spiral staircase accessing it!"

A wonderful find

"We booked this on a bit of a last minute family trip and it turned out to be a delight. The breakfast and dinner are fantastic, all the staff are very friendly and lots of them made a fuss of our children and kept them smiling. Drinks are reasonably priced, our family room was spacious. We had a partial sea view that we were happy with. Room service did a great job tidying up each day. There’s no bad things I have to say about the place, just wish the weather was better but you can’t have it all. We will definitely come back to Dom Jose. Location is fantastic too!"

"If you’re thinking of booking do not hesitate! We enjoyed every minute and had no issues from start to finish. The food, staff, beautiful interior, gardens, it was just perfect and the ultimate experience to relax and switch off. I loved the little personal touches like toothbrushes, toothpaste, the vanity pack, a razor, gorgeous scented body lotion, wine, chocolates. I could just keep going. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Domes Lake, we will be back! "
