"This was our first stop on a trip all around Germany and was the perfect place to stay as we explored the Black Forest region. Thomas, our host, was very helpful in answering questions as we prepared for our trip even before arrival. The home was beautiful, clean and the perfect size for us. It is centrally located in town and we loved that we could easily walk to restaurants and bakeries near by. Of all the places we stayed across Germany during our 3 week visit this was our favorite. "We were so pleased and overwhelmed with the way this hotel trip went. It is located within a mountain village and the pleasant chime of church bells between 7am to 12pm add an atmosphere of serenity. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and answered all my questions, knew the local places to visit, assisted in any problems and knew the history of the place. Our room was located on the top floor and came with two individual rooms and a kitchen including cooking facilities. The balcony that was outside our room offered stunning town and country view. We were happy with our accommodation. Parking is free and you can park on the street if parking spaces outside the hotel is full. There was also a pool and sauna free to use. For the price we paid, this was a once in a lifetime treat for all the family. If you are visiting this area, this hotel should seriously be considered in your plans. "

"Friendly and helpful staff. Nicely decorated hotel. Room was perfect for a family (family room). Good swimming pool. Buffet dinner was good quality. Beds were very comfortable. We were only staying for one night as a pitstop on a longer road trip. "

"This is the best hotel ever!! It’s gorgeous and decorated in a whimsical and fun way, you can tell they put so much love and care into the design and upkeep. The European style breakfast is fresh and delicious with lots of variety. The rooms are perfectly appointed with high quality bed linens, comfortable mattresses, nice TVs (not that we had time to use!) beautiful shower with lights and waterfall head, wonderful windows that open wide and a gorgeous church right outside our window. Parking is super convenient and free, and they have game rooms and a lounge and an absolutely beautiful garden and patio area with tons of seating. Wish we could stay here longer! Surrounding area is very quaint, no restaurants open while we were here but a quick drive to next town. "
