"(1) Although the reception was hardly ever maned, I only needed to press the call button and speak to the owner who was willing and able to help me with internet access and let me into the boot room when I forgot my room key. "We enjoyed our stay. The staff were really friendly and the use of the spa facilities at the hotel sonnblick were great. The receptionist even let us borrow robes and towels as we didn’t have our own. The room was nice, although it could have had more storage space. It would have been nice to have new towels and a cleaner half way through the visit, or a vacuum cleaner / brush to do it yourself. Great Base Hotel

"This is a perfect location for those wanting to have a base and venture out and about. The rooms are perfect with tea and coffee facilities for that cuppa when you just need a drink. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom/wet room is fantastic with toiletries provided. Breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold options. The hotel has a bar with a great selection and excellent prices. There is a sauna which is available to guests. Highly recommend 👌. "

The Comodo Bad Gastein, a Member of Design Hotels

"Such and amazing hotel with outstanding design and service! The restaurant is great with very good breakfast as well as dinner options. The room was perfect, the bed was very comfortable and we had great nights of sleep. The only thing to comment on are the doors in the hallways as they close loudly and we could hear it in the room especially in the mornings. "

The area is not particularly walkable, as you are not in the town, but the hotel is along a main road and is very easy to drive to. Great view of mountains of Bad Gastein, and only 5-10 minutes drive into town. Owner spoke perfect English, in case that's important to you. :)"
