"It was an ok stay The hotel could do with some updating and modernisation Was greeted very briefly when first arrived, but not at breakfast or when we left "

"It was a nice stay. I had a long term stay that was over 30 days. I had the double room, and i felt like it was cramped due to the ceilings. I had to constantly be stooping over or craining my neck in the room. I wouldn't rebook this room for a stay longer than a week. The owner was great and very nice."

"This is a beautiful B&B in a quiet residential area. The large garden is a perfect place to relax and defuse after a busy day. There is also a big public park a short distance away that has football nets, basketball, tennis, etc. The Holly Tree is walking distance from the bus station where there is a bus going downtown every 5 minutes. "We had an amazing stay here, upon arrival we noted that there was plenty of available parking spaces and we received a lovely welcome from the staff. Over the weekend, we often enjoyed a few drinks in the pub as well as a lovely dinner there. We were made to feel very comfortable, welcomed and relaxed at all times. The food was very good (especially the freshly cooked breakfast made to order). Many thanks for a perfect stay!"

"The room was excellent. It was clean and comfortable with all you would need for your needs and comfort. The toilet and shower facility was first class. All appliances were working properly and the shower and toilet were spotless. The breakfast provided was excellent. It was well cooked and plentiful with all tastes catered for. "Allison and cliff are very friendly and great cooks. The breafull English breakfast was outstanding. The rooms and home was so comfortable. I enjoyed being a about one hour outside of london and being able to explore the countryside. Cambridge. Castles, the north sra, and many other great sites."

"This is a lovely Aparthotel in a great location in Cambridge. Only downside is the noise from the road. I advise guests to bring earplugs or even better, supplied by the hotel. Some noise also from banging doors in the corridor. A coffeemaker is provided in the room, but only with 2 capsules and no fresh milk available."

Excellent Short stay

"Nice and clean hotel for basic needs - one or two night stay for flights etc. Friendly staff. Changed our room to twin without a problem, it was also a larger family room. The only problem- pillows. Synthetic and hard but then again - I do struggle with pillows in many hotels if they are not real feather pillows. "

Excellent - relaxed vibe

"This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The staff were very professional and very friendly - there is a lovely relaxed vibe about the place. Our room was ready when we arrived and an early complimentary check is was offered - we really appreciate this and it was lovely start to our stay. The hotel was easy to find - well organised parking arrangements, we pre booked a space. We had a deluxe room with courtyard view. This is one of the most spacious hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. The room was well organised and designed. - mini fridge, tea and coffee, ironing board, fluffy towels, and toiletries. The pizzas available to order from the rooftop Terrace are an absolute must. One of the nicest pizzas I have ever had! The options for food and drink at this hotel suit every budget. There’s the option of dining in the restaurant for breakfast or grabbing a lighter bite at the café. The rooftop terrace is also a lovely place to enjoy your drink.Our visit was in February so although it was a little chilly, it was still a pleasant visit. There are blankets and electric heaters. We had a lovely nights sleep, the super king bed was perfectly comfortable! The hotel was very quiet. We were not disturbed by slamming hotel doors or noise from outside. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning. "
