"This complex was 4 star but has not been kept up together. All okay, but: shower did not work, bath whirlpool did not work, no bath towels and WC seat plastic going yellow. Wanted to charge for the use of the indoor pool. Looks a lot better on the pictures than it is. Pity really as could be great"

"We arrived to a deserted resort-literally only one there. The outside was very unkept. My wife was literally shuffling through spider webs to get the key. Once you gain access it is quite pleasant, however definitely not secure. Especially if the only people staying there, it can be quite daunting. "The property was even better than expected, very spacious and well appointed kitchen, and the views spectacular! The short but steep walk down to the beach was excellent challenge to the fitness of the older members of the party. The heated pool was brilliant and compensated for the cooler misty air - this improved by mid afternoon and we enjoyed a couple of splendid sunsets. "

"We have just had a magical holiday at the Quinta da Princesa Barbara. The whole family was there to celebrate my parents’ 80th birthdays and it was perfect. The house is stunning and extremely well appointed. It has everything you could possibly need.
