"We stayed at Channings because it was convenient to visit family in Clifton. Rooms were fine for our needs, wifi was good enough for work-related video calls, continental breakfast was good. Staff were helpful. Since the rooms are above a bar, we were not surprised by typical noise from downstairs, and it did not affect our ability to rest and sleep. "

"The room was absolutely fine for one night's solo travel as I went to a friend's party. I didn't want to spend a fortune and the room was a good price in the right location. I hadn't expected tea and coffee making facilities, nor a hairdryer but was pleasantly surprised with both. The bed was comfy and clean. "After searching for a reasonable rate to explore the Cotswolds we found The Priory. Good location to explore to south Cotswolds, excellent greeting, Very friendly and attentive staff, clean room comfy bed, bathroom was small but big enough, dinner was excellent the food was freshly cooked and well presented, staff very thoughtful and attentive, breakfast was cooked to order and superb, highly recommend a stay here. If you are looking for a quieter room ask for room 10!"
