"After ascending the stairs from the street we self checked in at a very pretty lobby. Then went to our room. With a rustic aesthetic the room itself was very nice however the balcony really can only seat one comfortably. The room was clean and tidy. The ensuite could have more hooks for hanging clothes. The hotel itself is right by the water the only 2 minutes walk to the lake. Would definitely recommend. "

"Very disappointing stay. This photos show a pleasant hotel with sea views. What we had was a view of the sea with a very ugly old half built building obscuring the view. The receptionist was surly, abrupt and generally unpleasant. No welcoming smile, I felt like we were a burden. The room was full of mosquitos. "Very nice hotel for the price. Some nice restaurants nearby. Only issue we had was the number of stray cats around the hotel, who can be too friendly and don't give you any piece when lounging around the pools. It's not pleasant to be sunbathing when a cat jumps on you and sticks their claws into you!!"

"Nice hotel, on the sea front. There is a nice swimming pool with salt water. The room we stayed was a grand suite on the top floor. The view from the room balcony is perfect deep blue and relaxing. The room is spacious but bit outdated. The bathroom is nice with a big bathtub. Overall a positive experience."

"The expectation was of a 4star apartment.The reality was a basic 2star! I realise it was a Cretan style building & have no problem with that but a few modern touches and some comfortable loungers etc would be nice.Crete is lovely and the people very friendly so we enjoyed our stay overall just not the hotel."
