New World supermarket nearby if wanting to cook in kitchenette. Eating at Monteith’s brewery is a must (5 min drive). Nice town with wide streets & good overnight stay. Have to go to Pancake Rocks as well (45 min drive north)"

"The Hokitika Fire Station is a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable, spacious, clean, complete with all the amenities we needed and wanted.
