"We stayed at this hotel for 8 days in April. Upon arrival, Oriana (I hope I got the name correct) greeted us with a warm smile, and Carmelo, the hotel manager, ensured a smooth check-in, personally guiding us to our room. Things We Loved: The property grounds were beautifully maintained, and the outdoor space was, by far, the best feature of the hotel. It was a peaceful and enjoyable area to relax. Both Carmelo and Oriana were incredibly helpful, offering fantastic restaurant recommendations, guiding us to the nearest laundry facilities, and providing excellent overall service. Their hospitality truly stood out. There was a daily room service providing us with clean towels, toiletries and water bottles everyday. Areas for Improvement: Breakfast options were quite limited. While it was included in our booking, there was no hot food, and the selection remained the same each day. Eating the same cold food for eight days was challenging. The swimming pool was colder than expected. With mild April temperatures (between 20–25°C), we had hoped to enjoy the pool, but the water was mostly cold. My kids were excited to use it, but we weren’t sure if warm water was ever pumped in. Given the low number of guests, it seemed pool maintenance wasn’t a priority. No laundry facilities available on-site. Other things to note: - We need to drive 2-3kms to access the highway although the hotel is next to it. - Can't walk into Avola as the roads didn't seem safe and suitable. "

"We did not realise when we booked that no toilet paper could be flushed ( septic tank) Apparently this is quite common in Sicily. We had to empty all used toilet paper into the organic waste bin outside. The owners lived next door and were on hand for any issues. The access road to the property was very narrow but fairly short, a small car would be preferred for access reasons. The WIFI was not adequate for us to stream a film. "

"Struttura davvero molto bella e ben curata, situata in posizione ideale per raggiungere il centro di Avola in pochi passi. Camera confortevole, ampia, luminosa, spaziosa, arredata con gusto, dotata di ogni comfort. Bagno con doccia. Pulizia impeccabile. Biancheria da camera di alta qualità. Al piano terra della struttura c’è una cucina ad uso comune. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo nell’indicarci le istruzioni per il check-in e dove parcheggiare il veicolo. Una critica costruttiva: il materasso ci è sembrato troppo morbido, quindi un po’ scomodo a nostro parere. Ma per il resto tutto era perfetto! Consigliatissimo!!!! "

"We had a wonderful stay, the property is perfectly laid out. The pool is brilliant. The location is excellent, close to many brilliant beaches, Noto and not far from Syracuse. Would highly recommend."

"We had two ‘Comfort Rooms’ and our whole stay was EXCELLENT from the moment we arrived. We were formally welcomed by the owner add seen to our rooms which were really lovely, spacious, modern and very well presented with a lovely bottle of wine. The facilities around the complex were very clean, secure, privates and the pool area was good size and fabulous! Breakfast was very varied from choices of cereal, cheeses, eggs, bacon to whole range of yummy cakes! All the staff were GREAT! very polite, happy to help and always smiling! The beautiful sandy beaches of Avola are 10mins drive away. The whole stay was FABULOUS and can’t rate the place high enough, other to say I travelled the whole of Sicily and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed as a family -Go experience it and enjoy your time in Avila, Noto, Siracusa and all the other surrounding towns. "

"Great renovated hotel in a small sleepy town of Avola with an easy access to free beaches, free street parking. Nice helpful hostess and her staff. Luxury rooms, good continental breakfast, quiet area for a very small price! I strongly recommend it. In case you drive a car and want to visit sights in neighboring Syracuse, do not fall for expensive options in Syracuse, stay in this hotel and simply drive very short distance to Syracuse and use historical area available parking and walk to all major sights. "

"Stayed for 3 nites Air Conditioner was broke and not working the first night but they brought us a fan which helped and they fixed it the next morning. Breakfast was great the first morning and went downhill from there- $8.00 per person. Probably not worth it but the coffee was good. No cafe near by. Shower great. Staff helpful. Old building in not a very pretty area but safe enough. Elevator helpful for luggage. Great restaurants on the beach. "
